About the Owner
Kristen Midgett
Kristen is the Owner and Operator of Lotus Massage and Spa in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Kristen has over twelve years of experience in the Massage Therapy field, and has many clients that she has been seeing for almost just as long. She has extensive training in multiple massage modalities and is always working to grow her scope of practice.
Massage is not only her career, but her passion. She often says that she doesn't know what she would do for work if she wasn't a Massage Therapist. She loves being able to help people feel their best, decrease pain, and improve their quality of life. Even after 13 years she is still humbled by the idea that she can make a difference in someone's life simply because of what she does with her hands.

When she is not hard at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets (2 dogs, a rabbit, and a snake). In the summer she can be found at the beach almost every weekend, and in the winter she will never turn down an opportunity to escape for a quick skiing trip.
